The outer layer of the continuous fiber facing polyurethane insulation panel is made of continuous reinforced fiber thermoplastic material (CFRT) and the inner layer is made of polyurethane (PU) material. This sandwich structure combines the strength of CFRT with the lightweight insulation of PU foam. Common refrigerated trucks are mostly made of GRP PU sandwich panels. As its alternative, the continuous fiber facing polyurethane insulation panel has the same high impact strength, but its own weight is lighter, and the construction cost will be greatly reduced.

DESCRIPTION

Schematic Diagram

Advantages of using CFRT sheets as skins for foam core sandwich panels
- Enhanced Strength and Durability
CFRT sheets, reinforced with continuous glass or carbon fibers, provide high tensile strength and stiffness, enhancing the overall structural integrity of the sandwich panels.
- Lightweight
CFRT sheets are relatively lightweight, which helps keep the overall weight of the sandwich panel low while maintaining high strength, crucial for applications where weight is a critical factor.
- Chemical Resistance
The reinforcement makes CFRT sheets highly resistant to corrosion, chemicals, and solvents, which can extend the lifespan of the panels in harsh industrial environments.
- Recyclability
CFRT materials are often recyclable, especially when using thermoplastic resins, contributing to environmental sustainability. PET foam core is also recyclable, making the entire sandwich panel more eco-friendly.
